Two major journals are published under the auspices of the PSS(I): Conflict Management and Peace Science (CMPS) published at the Pennsylvania State University; and the Journal of Conflict Resolution (JCR), published by Sage Press. Both appear quarterly. Both are high quality inter-disciplinary journals containing scientific papers on such topics as international conflict, arms races, the effect of international trade on political interactions, defense expenditures, foreign policy decision making, international mediation, and game theoretic approaches to conflict and cooperation. A Newsletter is published three times per year dealing with news and events related to the scientific study of peace. Members of the Society automatically receive issues of CMPS and the newsletter and may subscribe at a reduce rate to the JCR. See Membership.

| CMPS Submission Procedures | ||

Manuscripts are invited for publication, and any manuscripts sent are assumed to be submitted for the exclusive consideration of CMPS. The style of CMPS should be followed as closely as possible. Electronic submission of manuscripts is encouraged, with pdf files most preferred. Please submit a separate file with the paper's abstract.
